Can I not give zero stars?
A complete lack of common sense amd over biding bureaucracy here. Twice the Royal Mail tried to deliver parcels to us last week. My wife opted for them to deliver to this post office for pick up. I duly arrived today with both calling cards, the notice on the app, the email, messages from my wife and my ID showing the same surname and address as my wife's.
'We can't give it to you as you need her ID' was their stance. 'Sometimes couples have disagreements about their partner's picking parcels up'.... clearly not the case here as I could show messages saying otherwise.
But my wife works hours where she cannot get here and her ID is on here at work..... surely I have enough to show she would like me to pick it up.
Oh no....NO COMMON SENSE AND BUREAUCRACY GONE MAD.
We'll take further time out to visit another time. The difference between customer service here at Moors Walk and the same sort of post office at Hall Grove is streets apart. They are amazing!

Useless post office, poor service from 2 staff on tonight had to go back to the sender to get proof my parcel had been delivered for collection by me after getting an email saying it was ready to collect, maybe if the staff could read labels it would save a lot of grief, several customers all rolling there eyes and tutting because of the seriously long wait,
Bring back the old post office

I went to this Martin’s moor walk postoffice today at 11.15am . I have a parcel weighing 2.2 kg and asked for 2nd class sigh for . They wanted to post it by Patcelforce only . Not Royalmail because it was over 2 kg . I used to work in postoffice myself and I said can you do medium parcel and they refused. Very poor service and even don’t want to check how to do it . Even from postoffice staff said no to take my 2nd class parcel . Need more training and told me to take your postoffice that is very rudes
