- DWDavid WardMar 8, 20265.0I can't believe the negative reviews! I've been a customer here for about 6 years and I've always found the staff to be really helpful. They have helped me out when I have made mistakes with addresses and are efficient and friendly. It can be a tough job so I'm not surprised they may have off days especially as the kids in there at school chuck out time can be a nightmare. I'll continue to support them. Local post offices are getting rare!

Instead, I was met with staff laughing at me and refusing to hand over the parcel on the basis that I am under the required age. What made this experience particularly unacceptable was not only the refusal itself, but the manner in which it was handled. No clear explanation was provided initially, no attempt was made to communicate respectfully, and I was treated in a dismissive and humiliating way. If age restrictions are genuinely an issue, this should be explained professionally and consistently, not through mockery or refusal without proper customer service. I have collected parcels before without any problems, which makes this refusal feel arbitrary and poorly managed. A business dealing with parcel collections should have clear policies and staff trained to enforce them respectfully. Laughing at a customer, especially a younger one, is completely inappropriate and reflects very poorly on the standards of this shop. Overall, this was an embarrassing and frustrating experience that could have been handled calmly and professionally. I will not be returning and would not recommend this shop to anyone expecting respectful, consistent, and competent service.
