It's a handy location, but not a full post office, staff have to manage the tills and PO so you cant expect it to be great 100% of the time. My experience here is great for its limitations, mostly service is quick and staff polite and attentive. Thankful this is there for us

Was in the queue waiting to be served whilst the assistant was dealing with another customer who was being served. This customer was cashing in scratch cards, lottery tickets, and a lot of other things. The queue was getting longer and the assistant asked for help from another worker stacking the shelves. This help was ignored. Terrible. 20 mins later I was served. Stock seldom stocked up and when it is it's close to the sell by date and offered at a cut down price, usually with the following days date. Disgusting way to run a business. Morrisons should take action as this is unbelievable.

I have been using this post office on a regular basis for the last four years. Today, a Saturday, I needed to check what time the post office closed.
As I did so I was amazed to see a relatively low marking for the post office. I have always found the staff unfailingly polite and unfailingly helpful.
It is a very small post office which unavoidably means that it cannot offer the full range of services that would be found in a main post office. Equally, with only one serving position, at busy times there can be a bit of a wait.
However, there is plenty of free parking immediately adjacent to this post office. Moreover, the only alternative would be to drive into the centre of Fareham, park (and pay for it) and use the main post office which is upstairs in the WH Smiths shop. This main post office's opening hours are nowhere near as user-friendly as those of Fairfield Avenue Post Office.
I completely stand by my five out of five rating.
