- GOGareth OsborneJul 28, 20261.0Mrs Goggins (from Postman Pat) would be turning in her grave if she could see how rude the postmistress is at OB Post Office. It's a far cry from Greendale when you go in and get greeted with 'why do you always (?) leave it so late' with a parcel to post 20 mins before closing. She seems genuinely miffed about having to do her job, but at least she's consistent with her rudeness. I use the place around twice a year and she's never once been able to quite dislodged the chip off her shoulder. The store also displays a similar lack of care and attention with the only well stocked area being the top shelf of adult mags harking back to the days before broadband. I shudder to think what Pat would say :-(

When I questioned this cost, it was suddenly £6 but still seemed extortionate for a letter. So I checked on post office online which said it was £2.85 and I bought the label online. The lady then refused to print it so I ran to Stanmore and sent it there. Not sure where my remaining £7.14 was going to go... Scam?
