What an excellent resource! Being open on a Saturday is fantastic and often a lifesaver. Lynnette's team are fantastic, patient, and calm no matter the scenario. Lynnette was exceptional the other day, as I had issues on my phone that were not her issue. Lynnettte went above and beyond to help me out when the store was closing - so I am sure I made her late. Nothing is too much trouble, and I can't thank her enough for de-escalating the situation. THANK YOU, you are amazing

I actually go out of my way to use this post office instead of my local one. The staff here are always so happy, welcoming, and genuinely friendly, and it makes such a difference to the whole experience. You’re greeted with a smile and real kindness, which is rare these days.

When the post office is open the staff are nice and they work hard to get the queues down when it’s busy.
What is so frustrating is the inaccurate info about opening times and short notice closures which are often only published on Facebook. If it’s going to be shut it’s not difficult to update google or the post office website. I’ve had at least 3 wasted trips in the last few months - we all understand that emergencies sometimes happen but today for example the website says open until 5.30 - I went at 4 and it was closed, not even a sign up to say when they’re open next. It’s not a bank holiday so why hasn’t the info been updated?
Edit: thank you for the reply, however I am not mistaken and it was 31st December and not New Year’s Day. It may be that google took a day to post the review. The website clearly stated you were open until 5.30 but you were not and there was not even any signage outside the shop clarifying the opening hours. I appreciate you are very hard working however numerous other local residents have expressed the same concern. Hopefully in future opening times can be amended on the website to avoid others making wasted trips.
