- HLHeather Lovell2 days ago1.0Terrible service from the indian lady in the post office. Very unhelpful and unfriendly - in fact she was terribly rude. Barking at me. I was sending a parcel to Australia and not sure what I was doing. She wanted the weight of each gift in the box.?? Is this new, I’ve never had to do this before. How would know what each item weighed, when its all boxed up. She made me feel really stupid, luckily the customers in the queue were kind and helped me out. I felt like a scolded child and was very upset. I will not be returning.!

On my first visit I was told very rudely by the staff that they were closed despite it being well beyond four minutes before the closing time. On my second visit today the staff refused to convert my foreign currency on the grounds that the note was ripped - not in half, just torn - and quite literally laughed in my face. Money is money; if over 80% of the note is present, it is legal tender. Staff need training in customer service (a smile helps a lot) but I won't be back.

If you’ve registered for the Change Giving service, you shouldn’t be refused change at your nominated Post Office branch.

If you’ve signed up but aren’t using your nominated branch, it’s at that branch’s discretion whether they have enough change available to fulfil your request.
