- LWLucy WainSep 8, 20261.0It's like playing roulette with this Post Office because the website always says it's open but more times than not you get there and the Post Office isn't working. The main excuse they give is that they haven't got any trained staff, but that's been an excuse for way longer than it takes to train staff how to use software. So as an innocent member of the public you go in and out with your boxes of parcels, struggling with the door each time, just to be told it's not operating. No online warning, waste of fuel and energy which does not surely comply with the governments net zero wishes. As a result of the problems at this post office the next nearest one at Kempshott, with the tiny tiny car park, has queues out the door, and that's when they bother to open more than one till. By the time you get to your third post office at Brighton Hill the staff there wonder why you might be in a bad mood! On behalf of the community, and at the end of my tether, I'm now on the phone to the post office to inform them of this . . . after getting through their call tree I was told by their automated service it will take 58 minutes to answer my call. 58 minutes for me to help them. Such a shame the post office does not seem to care about redeeming its reputation after its horrific abuse of the post masters and is still fundamentally unclear on its purpose which is to serve customers and communities, for which it gets paid and keeps people in jobs.

Once in the morning, once at 7pm and today it’s shut at 5pm for the rest of the day despite advertising opening hours until 10pm. Avoid at all costs if you don’t want a wasted journey.
