Super friendly and helpful staff. After being turned down by two banks they helped me exchange some old bank notes. Date is 3 June 2026, so kudos to the friendly lady who went above and beyond today to help.

This is by far the worst adult task in life, going to the post office, almost as bad as Iceland on a Tuesday. This is a particularly fine specimen of the post office service, completely unhelpful staff that make you fill out unnecessary forms. The wait is horrendous at all times, and they close when they want as a treat! I try to avoid post offices (especially this one) but needs must.

I don’t know why WHSmith took on post offices, this is the most unhappiest post office, each time I go in all tills are closed, I know they only have maybe 3 spaces and a bureau de change. You may have one till and bureau de change if you’re lucky. But the staff don’t like working there is the only thing I can think as they aren’t happy, or seem helpful. They may as well get rid of self service as not in use and no one to help if it was working. Changed to TG Jones and the staff are the same and scruffiest bunch of unhappy/unhelpful bunch. Apart from new lady that works there sometimes. Even the whole post office is a bit scruffy signage behind the tills. They should have kept old post office in same building as delivery office. The old post office and staff were helpful and very pleasant. This one needs sorting out or take the post office out of TG Jones and back in old building and staff that actually want to work in a post office and tidy uniform. This place looks dilapidated since the post office went in there. TG Jones itself is the same, needs modernising or closing with happy staff.
