- SPSteve P.Jan 16, 20255.0Thursday 16th January 2025 I was in Harlech, N. Wales and needed to draw some cash so went into Harlech Post Office located inside Y gwyllt Snowdonia Cafe to get some. What a gem it turned out to be. My wife bought some wool and then we decided to stay for a most delicious lunch. It also stocks loads of crafting materials, sweets and cakes amongst many other things. It’s spacious, warm, comfortable and cosy. The staff are amazing, friendly and obliging. Sadly, it is very easily missed being set back from the main road facing the Harlech Castle car park. Don’t walk past, it’s well worth a visit.

The lady serving said to me, can you not read the sign, it says we're closed!? I apologised and asked for a first class stamp and also asked at which point did you close! She then agreed to sell me 4 first class stamps. I'm wishing I hadn't bothered! Very rude and miserable customer service.

Friendly staff and dogs welcomed with treat. Shop has some beautiful crafts, candles and gifts. Recommended for a cuppa and browse after a Harlech beach or woods walk.Table divisions in place, masks currently still required, inside toilet.
