- AHAbbie HilliamOct 18, 20241.0AVOID SENDING PARCELS WITH THIS POST OFFICE STORE!! I wanted to post a medium parcel <2kg 1st class, I wasn’t too fussed about when it arrived. Man in the shop was quoting me £19 to arrive tomorrow, when I said it can arrive whenever, I don’t want it signed for, no other add ons etc. it then went to £13. I told him medium parcels cost around £6 Royal Mail 1st class he blatantly LIED to me saying ‘prices have gone up since then’ (since yesterday when I posted some out for work) and the cheapest way to send was £13. This is a blatant scam to earn more money on postage commissions, and taking advantage of people who do not know current postage costs. Reading other reviews about this shop and its owner … I am now not surprised.
