It's a bit of a lottery, one day you'll deal with nice, professional staff and the other day you'll end up with the older guy always trying to scam you with outrageous quotes for a simple envelope. 31g envelope quoted at a whopping £9.99 for shipping in the UK (tracked) ! I had to insist for other options and he reluctantly offered £5.95 with a warning "It will take a week, probably more". The envelope arrived the next day. Pure extortion, just go to Wimbledon post office, people are way nicer and they always offer the Evri option, average quote there is at least 50% cheaper than in this scamming centre.

This is the worst post office I’ve been to. There is one older man who works there who is extremely rude and clearly doesn’t want to be dealing with customers anymore. His attitude is consistently negative and unhelpful, which makes every visit unpleasant. If he is this unhappy in the job, it might be time for him to retire. Customer service should not feel like you are bothering the person serving you.

I am beyond disappointed with the service at this branch. I went in for DPS document verification, fully prepared with all required documents. One of the documents was my BRP, which — very clearly during the application process — is explicitly stated as acceptable up to 18 months after expiry. I was well within that timeframe. Not even close to the limit. Despite this, the staff member flatly refused to accept it, repeatedly claiming “it’s expired” while the exact rule stating it is valid within 18 months was literally visible on her screen. I pointed this out multiple times. I even offered my eVisa as additional proof. None of it mattered. Instead of reading or applying the rules correctly, she dismissed everything and hid behind the excuse that “the system won’t accept it,” which is either untrue or a sign that the staff have no idea how to use their own systems. She then consulted another colleague, who also rejected it without any proper explanation or reference to the actual policy. What’s most frustrating is not just the refusal — it’s the complete inability or unwillingness to read and follow basic written guidance in English, especially when the rules are straightforward and displayed right in front of them. If staff cannot correctly interpret the requirements of the service they are providing, they should not be handling critical legal document verification. This visit cost me time, money, and unnecessary stress — all because of staff incompetence and rigid ignorance of clearly stated rules. This branch seriously needs retraining, better oversight, and staff who actually understand the services they are paid to deliver. I strongly advise anyone needing document verification to avoid this branch entirely unless you want your time wasted by people who don’t follow their own guidelines.
