They even have a nice range of gifts which is handy for those last minute moments. Oscar and Laura are a delightful couple; very community minded, always friendly, helpful and extremely easy on the eye. Please support your local village shop and post office; especially in rural areas, before they disappear entirely. They are precious for so many reasons, but a lifesaver for the elderly and those who donât/canât drive.

- NSNeil SJan 17, 20245.0Sorry the ice cream eating was spoiled. The Post Office is located on a width restricted single track lane. The photo shows the two specially created pull ins either side of the post box and created for the use of Post Office customers to keep the lane clear. The Post Office is an invaluable asset for the village and its many retired inhabitants some of whom donât drive. The Sub Postmaster and his wife are very helpful and good at their job. They and all Sub Postmasters deserve our appreciation and support. The Pub car park is 100 metres away with lots of space and less than half a mile away our very attractive cricket and recreation ground has parking looking over the pitch. Come again, park up and take a walk round the village. The peace and quiet, fresh air and countryside views are very restorative.
