Unfortunately I have to leave a negative review which is the first I have ever left. The service is far too slow and ineffective. I was in the post office nearly 1 hour today and the lady there could not manage to help me post a letter to France or one to USA. I was helped in the end by a nice colleague at another till. Previously I have had to drive to Up Hatherley post office following another experience where she could not help me. There was absolutely no issues with my transaction there. I was in and out and the sevice was excellent. I will be complaining to Post Office online also. I am posting this as I am frustrated- the queue times are excessively long and the service is far too often poor. I hope it will bring about change and a better service for the community.

Unfortunately, I am posting this today and it is a negative review. I didn’t wish to do this, but if I don’t do it then nothing ever changes. I have put in a complaint to the post office department as there is no way of emailing this post office directly. There was a massive queue at the post office today. I waited 10 minutes and thought I can’t wait any longer. None of the people on the tills in the shop offered to help either. I’m aware that there is only one person at the post office counter. When I do get to the counter, everyone is always very professional and helpful. I have put in a complaint today to customer services online to the post office. I have asked if the service could be made quicker and more efficient and if there is any chance of getting another member of staff - particularly as we are coming up to the busy Christmas period. Also, That if the people in the main shop on the tills, are more observant and notice if the post office queue is getting very long and offer to help. I have used this post office for 20 years and unfortunately the wait seems to be getting longer. I will be taking my services elsewhere at the moment. This is the second time in the last few weeks that I have had to leave because the queue has been far too long and I’ve had an appointment to get to. Thank you.

I’ve been using the Charlton Kings Post Office branch regularly for over 4 years since publishing and selling my children’s books and the service is always great. Susan in particular is a familiar face who I see regularly, and she’s always been great to deal with and very friendly.
