Very disappointing experience at this location.
I arrived at 18:55 to drop off a small parcel that was already fully prepared with the shipping label attached. According to the Google listing, this branch closes at 19:30, so I expected that dropping off a parcel should not be an issue.
However, the staff member at reception, who identified himself as Lucas, refused to accept the parcel and simply said they were closed. I politely explained that the published closing time on Google is 19:30 and that I was heading to the airport, hoping to leave the parcel so it could be processed later. Despite this, he still refused to help.
This would have taken less than a minute, and there were still over 30 minutes before the advertised closing time. Refusing such a simple request shows a lack of customer service and flexibility.
If the branch actually stops accepting parcels before 19:30, then the published hours should be corrected, as customers rely on that information when planning their visit.
Very disappointing service and not what I would expect from DHL Express.

What are Custom duties and taxes?
When transporting goods across international borders, packages are subject to duties and taxes as determined by Customs in the destination country. Whether a shipment is a gift or not, it must still go through an import procedure as determined by Customs law in the destination country. The shipment is cleared through Customs based on the origin country, value and quantity. The calculation of duties depends on the assessable value of a dutiable shipment. For more information read our FAQs after clicking on the "Website" button.
Why doesn't DHL include duties and taxes in its delivery prices?
The Customs authorities in the destination country determine whether any duties and taxes are applicable when the parcel arrives. This is based on the information provided on the parcel label (or waybill) and Customs paperwork, such as the contents, declared value and weight.
Why is the receiver being asked to pay Custom duties and taxes?
Duties and taxes are charged by Customs in the destination country and the receiver in that country is responsible for paying them. For more information read our FAQs after clicking on the "Website" button.
Do I need to create Customs paperwork for my parcel?
If a parcel (non-document item) is being sent internationally (including to Europe), a Customs invoice is required. If a parcel is being sent nationally (within the UK and to the Channel Islands), a Customs invoice is not required.
