How do I deposit a cheque at Post Office?

To deposit a cheque, you’ll need to bring the following to your nearest branch: *The cheque *A completed deposit slip from your bank, if applicable. Please contact your bank to request paying-in slips as these are not held in Post Office branches *A cheque deposit envelope for your bank (these are available from your own bank or the majority are stocked in Post Office branches) Please do not enclose cash. Full instructions can be found on the cheque deposit envelope. Simply hand over your sealed cheque deposit envelope to the Post Office who will provide you with a receipt for your cheque deposit envelope.

Why did my Post Office refuse to issue change?

If you’ve registered for the Change Giving service, you shouldn’t be refused change at your nominated Post Office branch. You may have been refused if you’re not signed up to this service. If you’d like to do so, contact your bank directly to find out whether they offer the service and how to sign up. If you’ve signed up but aren’t using your nominated branch, it’s at that branch’s discretion whether they have enough change available to fulfil your request. Joke. I start work 8.15 on a Sunday this is the only store on a Sunday that's "supposed" to be open at 8. She's wanders around until 8.06-7 EVERY week and then makes us wait till she opens the shutters despite being almost 10 minute late opening. Zero regard for people relying on the stores opening times and again it's every week

Did a driving license renewal we did not receive it DVLA said from the receipt I provided that the tablet that it was done had not been identified that they hat receive payment or old license when I went to inform staff at post office they would accept it they were at fault and were very rude have reapply again and make other payment awful won’t be using this office again

Went there today to get my SIA badge sorted out showed them my details they needed like birth certificate ect had to aslo give them my deed poll as I don't have fathers now name The lady who served was not interested what so ever says she cant use my deed poll beacuse it's a didfename on my birth certificate yet she didn't even look at my deed poll so I went over tbe newcastle one 10 minutes later and they ACCEPTED my details and took my payemnt just shows who ever severed me at gateshead Jackson street was lazy and couldn't be bothered smd she was old lady with glasses and blonde hair as other reviews have stated the same person being rude to them disgusting lazy staff

Ive never had any issues and usually drop my vinted parcels here. But what staff shouldnt do is talk across tills when servicing customers or have those ear peices talking to whoever because it creates confusing and you dont know if they are talking to you. If like with premier shops ive went to they always on the phone with those ear pieces and it also shows that they arnt listening to customers
