- RDRichard DaviesDec 22, 20251.0FLINT POST OFFICE RUINED MY CHRISTMAS I needed to have my Christmas presents delivered somewhere other than my actual address to save my partner from see her gifts, so I selected the flint post office address as a delivery address. I had an email from Amazon to say my parcels Had been delivered to the post office address and duly went to collect them. A lady with dark hair and glasses was the one I dealt with, she confirmed the parcels were their but, without a pickup code she would not release them, so I rang Amazon customer service to try and get these mysterious codes. The customer service representative from Amazon said you don’t need collection codes, I even put the phone on speaker as to include the post office assistant in on the conversation. Still no joy, I explained that these parcels were Christmas presents for my partner and that I had no way of replacing them at such short notice, the lady was not for turning! No exceptions would be made, Christmas or Not, so I’ve currently got nearly £200 Pounds worth of Christmas presents sat in the post office waiting collection that will not be released. Also I am walking with a crutch at present and walking any distance for a prolonged period of time is really painful, this is why I choose to have it delivered as opposed to walking around for hours.
