- AMAlistair MurphyMar 18, 20261.0I am not a fan of the attitudes of some of the older female staff members. I have been in a good few times and have been treated like a school child (despite being 29) everytime. I was in today between 11am-12pm to exchange currency, after telling the older woman this all I got was a shriek of "explain!". No "hello" no "how are you?" or more importantly no "in what currency would you like to exchange to?". It is the interactions with obviously younger adults is an ongoing issue at this post office. What they say and how they phrase it to people must improved. The customer experience must always be a pleasant one and if they look or appear younger this must not change that. This is just today's example but every time I am in (and certain older females serve me) there is always an issue in what they say and how they say it. This isn't the 60s anymore.
- MCMel b ClaireFeb 4, 20241.0The lady behind the post office is very very disrespectful, and told me it was none of there business that...I posted a parcel on the 6th of December 23...I paid £15.50 for retested post as there was £100 in with the parcel, I've went down 3 times & that woman in postal part, was ignorant rude & told me it's sent bk from Ireland because they don't like us anymore since they left the EU I'm Irish who lived here 17 Yr...my £100 is still lost & they had done nothing to help including the young man who sent it off for me. I've my tracking number my receit & that woman should not be working with public, I'll never use this post office again. The lovely lady Gill who sadly doesn't work there no more....was great to customers helpful very friendly funny & made going into the post office a nice experience...I'll never go in again. Very unhappy customers I can see in the reviews. They are all the same 1 star...same here. Wouldn't recommend.
