And also ,I collected my paracel but it says on the system ,The paracel has not been collected because the staff of the post office did not scan Codes and confirm collection of the paracel. Collecting process is so simple but they do not know how to do the collecging process and they are getting pay for their job . When I asked to reconfirm Collection because they did not confirmed and solve the problem,they said we cant do anything .They put me in the Middle. I never ever choose this post office again because they do not provide service right .
- RBRob BraggNov 25, 20231.0The majority of staff are nice enough here but that’s if you’re fortunate enough to select the small window in the week it might actually be open. Ignore the hours online, ignore the hours on the sign in the shop, it really is just pot luck. It would be easier if they stopped pretending like they’re open the majority of the day and stuck to a regular schedule, even if that means just 1-2 hours per day, at least it would be consistent then. There have even been periods the entire post office is shut for over a week due to “IT issues” meaning you’re unable to even collect parcels. I would therefore avoid if you actually want to receive or collect your post and opt for the shop in Laughton instead (who are capable of sticking to a regular schedule). Unrelated to the post office, but if you’re thinking of buying food/drink in the shop, think again, you’ll need to re-mortgage and even then it’s unlikely the item will be in date.

Managed to lose a parcel I sent through them, went from a helpful member of staff offering to check with Royal Mail, as to why the parcel was still showing as being with them, to a thoroughly rude member of staff (Tyler) answering the phone later in the day when I phoned again to enquire what the outcome was. I was talked over then hung up on. Honestly avoid this post office if you can.
