Enjoyed sitting out the front and watching many local people using the shop and post office.. a great resource and brilliant for a cuppa when other places are shut.

Such a shame, this shop was such an asset to the village, the village wants decent quality items, not bookers rubbish.

I only go for the cafe where the coffee's good and there is always a nice little selection of cake and pastries. Order any cake/pastry and it will be delivered beautifully presented with a garnish of fresh fruit and a sprinkling of icing sugar. There is a sheltered "garden" at the back, a nice sun trap on a summer's day. The shop sells all kinds of standard food items but also a host of other stuff: cards, gifts, toys..... And the "ladies" as they seem to be called, are consistently welcoming, warm and professional.
