- SLSUE LARKINGAug 25, 20261.0Such a shame Laughton village shop and post office has gone downhill so quickly since the new owner took over, most of the lovely staff have gone, and the new owner is not at all friendly. Alison used to stock unusual items which were ideal as gifts, but the new owner has just filled the shop with booze! The little cafe seems empty and disused, such a shame Alison and her ladies hard work has been destroyed.
- SSSezAug 24, 20261.0Really disappointed with the changes. I came to Laughton last year and had handmade food, bought local products and had a lovely time, i could not believe how much the stock had changed. It is REALLY disappointing and i hope the new owner can understand how we have lost something really special. I will pay GOOD MONEY for local, organic or handmade food...please!?! We don't want bags of crisps and packaged processed stuff. 😪💔 beware of pastries on the counter...i believe they are repackaged processed items. I'm sorry for bad review, it is so disappointing but i hope you can listen to your customers and make changes.
- SCSeana ClougherJun 16, 20265.0Went on a Tuesday afternoon and low and behold... tea... sausage rolls and other pastires! 3 lovely shop assistants and a really nice atmosphere. Enjoyed sitting out the front and watching many local people using the shop and post office.. a great resource and brilliant for a cuppa when other places are shut.
