- THThomas HarveyMay 21, 20261.0Today I had once again, another unsavoury experience with customer assistant, Sue. I was sending a large letter which would go through the plastic guard used to test large letters. Upon requesting to test using the plastic guard, Sue refused and explained that the letter is too large. To clarify, this is an A4 envelope, an A4 envelope is a large letter. On a previous occasion when I visited the post office, I enquired about the difference in pricing between a tracked and signed-for 2nd class parcel. Sue explained that there is no difference in pricing between the two, and how they are just named differently but the same service. Upon looking this up on the royal mail website, this is confirmed to be untrue. With a mix of Sue's foul customer service and lack of knowledge in her job, I will be avoiding this post office. Please train your staff correctly in how to conduct themselves in a customer facing role.
- HPHollie PoulterMar 5, 20261.0The middle aged ladies that work there are rude and very unhelpful. Had emails regarding 2 parcels delivered there by DPD. One lady found 1 and said the other wasn't there. Said the driver will be back later. The young chap found off straight away. Tgen on collecting another parcel another lady said they were shut. Says on website they're open. Again, young chap said he'd get my parcel. Then I had an email saying 2cparcels were reafy. I left it a day and again on trying to collect she insisted one wasn't there. She said are you sure they're not in the same bag. I said they're from different senders. She said the driver will be back later and I said no. These arrived here yesterday, I insisted she look and there it was! She then proceeded to be anal about my I.d. I won't be using them again. The young chap is brilliant though

- HHHarryApr 14, 20251.0I sent a parcel via DPD for next day delivery. It never turned up and the tracking still states it’s at the post office. They claim it’s not there and have no interest in helping claim for the lost item. Clearly it’s been stolen by the post office or DPD and neither wants to help out their customer. Every time I popped in trying to resolve the situation they simply shrugged their shoulders. The place should be shut down due to security issues and unfriendly staff. Don’t use this post office.

Why did my Post Office refuse to issue change?
If you’ve registered for the Change Giving service, you shouldn’t be refused change at your nominated Post Office branch.
You may have been refused if you’re not signed up to this service. If you’d like to do so, contact your bank directly to find out whether they offer the service and how to sign up.
If you’ve signed up but aren’t using your nominated branch, it’s at that branch’s discretion whether they have enough change available to fulfil your request.
