If I could give less than 1 star I would. Some staff are great, but be warned if you ever try to use the Post Office counter for any form of pre-paid or franchised delivery (e.g. DPD), esp if being served by the lady. So rude every time.
Rather than walk here, will start driving to Elsenham.

Very disappointing experience at Stansted Mountfitchet Post Office. On multiple occasions, my partner and I have been made to feel as though the woman simply does not want to accept parcels or deal with customers. Parcels have repeatedly been challenged or refused for supposedly being “too large”, despite them only being slightly bigger than a shoebox and well within what I would reasonably expect a Post Office to handle.
The attitude has been consistently negative and unhelpful. Eye-rolling, making the whole transaction feel awkward, and generally giving the impression that accepting parcels is an inconvenience.
It is particularly disappointing because a local Post Office should be somewhere people can rely on. Based on our repeated experiences, I genuinely think this branch needs reviewing by Post Office management, because the level of customer service does not reflect what I would expect from the Post Office brand.
Unfortunately, I would recommend avoiding this branch if you have parcels to send. 0 Stars

Really unpleasant experience at our local Post Office. The woman serving was incredibly rude and made it very clear that she didn't want to deal with my prepaid Royal Mail parcels because, in her words, she "doesn't make any money" from them.
I was repeatedly told I wasn't a "customer" because my parcels were prepaid and was made to stand aside while people arriving after me were served. It was unnecessarily rude, embarrassing and made me feel completely unwelcome.
A local Post Office is supposed to provide a service to its community. Local residents shouldn't be made to feel uncomfortable using it simply because the person behind the counter doesn't consider their transaction profitable enough.
Sadly, having read the other reviews, it seems I'm far from the only person who has experienced this attitude. It's such a shame that this is how people are being treated at their own local Post Office.

AVOID!!!!
The lady who works in here is consistently rude to me whenever i come in, however today she shouted at me because I brought in 5 prepaid Royal Mail parcels to send.
she began lecturing me about how there is an in-post at the top of the road and i need to stop coming to her!
she then told me that I shouldn’t come back again if Im just sending prepaid parcels.
If you don’t want me to bring prepaid parcels to you then don’t advertise that you send them!
appalling customer service and she doesn’t need to worry - you couldn’t pay me to go back.
