Post office should be stripped from here! Not for the first time, online says “open” - only to be told on arrival that they are closed all day due to bank holiday. Even though the website clearly shows the bank holiday hours. Staff are extremely unhelpful and offer little to no customer service. Does anyone actually monitor the post office performance? 🤔

Not a very good post office it never has any money so if you want to take money out using your bank card then don't bother trying, didn't even have £50 🤷‍♂️

Moved into the area newly around February. Went in as British gas listed this as a smart meter top up point, and would be closest to m. For context I now have to walk all the way to Carlton Avenue just to make sure my electricity and gas is still supplied, despite wanting to take the meters out and landlord wants them to remain. So when I went in, the guy mumbled barely audible and I asked him to repeat and he said it louder and frustrated "No we don't do that one here". I respond saying ok, well the British gas website says you did, so fair enough but you may want to update that or inform them they have it wrong. He then repeats again almost shouting at this point "I SAID WE DONT DO THAT ONE HERE". I don't get shouted at. I replied with my nicest possible response of "Don't be so rude and speak up and be polite to a potential new local customer, I'm just trying to help you not have this, very stressful apparently, situation where someone comes somewhere because they're instructed to by the service you're supposed to carry" If you're miserable, then don't work there. But you're not gonna make money if you act like that and don't even try to listen and just assume I was arguing with you to just do it anyway or something. I understood and I was just pointing out it's listed wrong. Inattentiveness is the killer of good customer service and unfortunately if you run a shop / post office you're in customer service. Learn to be nicer.
