- TKTanya KrackowizerOct 13, 20222.0I have used Writtle Post Office on and off for years in its various guises with varying success. On the whole it's ok but I actually just cannot depend on it. Yesterday I went in to use the Post Office. It closes between 2.30pm-3.30pm on a Wednesday and I knew this so went at 3.45pm. Parked up, went through the shop only to be told they were not open. They were late closing up at 2.30 and it had put them behind and they couldn't get the system up - something along those lines. All fairly understable BUT they were so rude about it! Completely unhelpful and treating me as if I'd done something wrong. It was actually outrageous and I doubt I will ever use that Post Office again. The guy at Forest Drive is much nicer and more helpful.
