Always great to use them and they do a good service Things might be slow at certain times but that’s just how the Post Office is. A bit of patience and understanding goes a long way!

Dreadful service, two people in front of me and two people serving, , then I was told due to emergency they were closing....I was disgusted that they had put no closed sign out, but decided to serve the other two people....meant to be open all day! Not just close when they want....its not as if there was anyone behind me either....and no, I've never been rude to any staff either in the past, the time was 12.50 pm . Should be looked into this branch , they need guidance on how not to be rude to customers.

Closed during normal opening hours on two separate occasions within a week. Cannot be relied upon, unfair on customers making a dedicated trip.

I have used Writtle Post Office on and off for years in its various guises with varying success. On the whole it's ok but I actually just cannot depend on it. Yesterday I went in to use the Post Office. It closes between 2.30pm-3.30pm on a Wednesday and I knew this so went at 3.45pm. Parked up, went through the shop only to be told they were not open. They were late closing up at 2.30 and it had put them behind and they couldn't get the system up - something along those lines. All fairly understable BUT they were so rude about it! Completely unhelpful and treating me as if I'd done something wrong. It was actually outrageous and I doubt I will ever use that Post Office again. The guy at Forest Drive is much nicer and more helpful.
