Told me i got there after 3 and when i said i had got there before 3 she told me they have CCTV evidence to prove i didn’t? When the other customers said I had been there before 3 she didn’t listen to them either. As someone who has worked in customer service for many years I was baffled. No apologies and lied to my face. She knew I only needed to buy a stamp why be so rude about it? Total waste of my time.

- EEEdita EdituleAug 12, 20251.0I have been using this Post Office branch for several years and have never had any complaints until now. On my recent visit, I experienced very unpleasant service. I came to send a registered letter to a government institution and had a prepared barcode, which only needed to be scanned to print the address. The staff member refused to scan the barcode and insisted that I write the address by hand, even though this has never been required in the past and other staff members have always completed the process without issue. Her tone was unfriendly and unhelpful, which left me with a very negative impression. I believe this kind of attitude harms long-standing customer relationships and does not reflect the service standards expected from the Post Office.

To deposit a cheque, you’ll need to bring the following to your nearest branch:

*A completed deposit slip from your bank, if applicable. Please contact your bank to request paying-in slips as these are not held in Post Office branches
*A cheque deposit envelope for your bank (these are available from your own bank or the majority are stocked in Post Office branches)
Please do not enclose cash. Full instructions can be found on the cheque deposit envelope.
Simply hand over your sealed cheque deposit envelope to the Post Office who will provide you with a receipt for your cheque deposit envelope.
Why did my Post Office refuse to issue change?
If you’ve registered for the Change Giving service, you shouldn’t be refused change at your nominated Post Office branch.
