The guy at the counter (Bengali or Indian, I’m not sure) is easily the most difficult postal worker I’ve ever dealt with. Every single time, there’s a different excuse.
First, he claimed my parcel was too big—even though another Post Office accepted the exact same parcel without any issue. Then he asked how many parcels I had because “there’s a queue.” I was literally first in line, so what bulls… was he talking about? It felt like he was acting as if he was doing me a personal favour rather than simply doing his job.
After that, he insisted I needed bags for the items. I told him the service instructions specifically said I didn’t. Then he claimed they don’t provide bags anymore, which was clearly untrue because other Post Offices still do.
The best part? I came back the next day, a different staff member served me, and everything was accepted without a single problem.
At this point, it seems the issue isn’t the parcels, the bags, or the rules—it’s him. I’ve never met someone so determined to reject things that clearly meet the requirements. If he’s applying his own made-up rules instead of the actual policy, management seriously needs to look into it.

The closing time is supposed to be 8 pm according to the post office time schedule but I was there at 5.40 pm and the post office had closed !
It was so painful because I came from far distance and twice now that I have witnessed similar incident, just too bad?
