Attended Barking post office @11.40am on 24th July to return a parcel. Was informed cheapest return tracked would be £4.75. Apon checking tracking details I questioned the service & informed it was Evri so immediately asked for a refund & re post via Royal mail. Her reaction was "we need to give Evri an chance" Royal mail was 30p cheaper so not only was i misslead, lied to about the price but nearly conned too. Maybe there on commission or have an insentive but inform customers the service provider & not lie about prices. Usually the service is great and there very poliet & helpful so could just be some individuals lack or need more training

Worst post office ever in the entire country. This post office has only ever gave me trouble for every time using it. The people working there are miserable and unhelpful to the core.
Always refuse to assist and do everything possible to faff you off.
Waiting in the queue and only to face the rude faces. I urge everyone to complain about this branch who deal the same.
The lady at the business counter especially makes her own rules. Doing everything possible make your visit as frustrating as possible.
Hate going there, went after a year nothing changed. I’ve realised Nothing going to until the new owner takes over.

Absolutely shocking experience at this Post Office.
I paid around £20 for the application envelope and then handed over a £10 note directly to the employee for the postage fee. After she had already started processing and packaging the envelope, she suddenly claimed that I had never given her the £10.
I was left standing there being told to come back later while they checked, despite the fact that I had physically handed the money over moments earlier. Instead of resolving the issue immediately, I was effectively treated as though I was the problem.
To make matters worse, the security guard became unnecessarily confrontational and attempted to escalate the situation rather than help calm it down.
The entire experience felt disorganised, unprofessional, and disrespectful. Customers should not have to argue over money they have already paid or deal with staff who cannot properly keep track of payments.
I would strongly advise others to be extremely careful when handing over cash here and to keep receipts for absolutely everything.
