- SGSylvia GraingerAug 26, 20251.0Just been into post office at Beverley WH Smith’s to pay in some cash which had been donated to our recently deceased son’s fundraiser for his children, I explained that I was hoping to use Nat West but it had closed and that I was sorry it was a lot of coins and cash, the two staff who dealt with me were utterly appalling. They were terse to beyond the point of rudeness, when I explained I had travelled from Bridlington as our own Nat West had closed one of them said “congratulations “ in the most sarcastic manner, it got worse. I wasn’t aware of a limit to paying in cash as have not had to do this before but instead of just explaining in a civil manner I was subjected to scorn and clipped offhandedness. You are a disgrace to the Post Office.

Why did my Post Office refuse to issue change?
If you’ve registered for the Change Giving service, you shouldn’t be refused change at your nominated Post Office branch.
