- SWStacey WalkerNov 25, 20241.0Tried to post a item the woman serving didn't know what she was doing I asked for a particular service and 3 times she tried to sell me the wrong one then she asked another member of staff for help who wasn't very pleasant and said why did I want the service i asked for in a abrupt manner it's a small letter, but it was to big to go as a small letter as it was to thick but she would not take my word for it so the other woman tried to ram it in the size guide template and realised it wouldn't fit so then still tried to sell me the wrong service again tried to charge me £12.95 when it should of been £2.80 which I had told her on several occasions so I went else where as they were clueless

The staff are friendly and know what they are doing. They don't get annoyed when i turn up with 12 things to post. I highly recommend this post office.

Rude when querying why closed also, another business round here masquerading as a “local service” but in reality anything but. Might as well take the post office out of the shop and go to a mobile van twice a week like in Wolsingham!

To deposit a cheque, you’ll need to bring the following to your nearest branch:
*The cheque
*A completed deposit slip from your bank, if applicable. Please contact your bank to request paying-in slips as these are not held in Post Office branches
*A cheque deposit envelope for your bank (these are available from your own bank or the majority are stocked in Post Office branches)
Please do not enclose cash. Full instructions can be found on the cheque deposit envelope.
Simply hand over your sealed cheque deposit envelope to the Post Office who will provide you with a receipt for your cheque deposit envelope.
Why did my Post Office refuse to issue change?
If you’ve registered for the Change Giving service, you shouldn’t be refused change at your nominated Post Office branch.
You may have been refused if you’re not signed up to this service. If you’d like to do so, contact your bank directly to find out whether they offer the service and how to sign up.
If you’ve signed up but aren’t using your nominated branch, it’s at that branch’s discretion whether they have enough change available to fulfil your request.
