The queue is so long that I actually managed to type this entire review while waiting to be served. That really says it all. The customer service from the staff has also been extremely poor. Staff come across as rude and unhelpful, which makes the already ridiculous waiting times even more frustrating. On my most recent visit, I was being served by a member of staff who was eating chips while serving customers. I found this incredibly unprofessional and unpleasant. I work in Westbourne and used to genuinely enjoy coming into this Post Office because the previous staff were always friendly, welcoming and provided great customer service. Whatever changes have been made recently have unfortunately had a huge negative impact. It’s such a shame to see what was once a pleasant place to visit become an experience I now dread. The queues, attitude of the staff and general standard of customer service really need to improve.

Unfortunately, one member of staff in particular, a very tall blonde lady with distinctive makeup, is consistently rude and unfriendly. This isn’t a one-off experience. I’ve heard the same feedback from several other people in the area. Customer service should be about being polite and helpful, but every interaction feels like you’re an inconvenience. She comes across as though she dislikes her job, and it really affects the atmosphere of the branch. It’s a shame because the post office used to be a welcoming place. I hope management takes customer feedback seriously and addresses the decline in service.
