- AMAnson MaAug 12, 20255.0Since the Chaddlewood Post Office has closed, all the extra customers are going to the Plympton branch. The staff here are doing a great job under a lot of pressure — they’re friendly, efficient, and doing their best to serve everyone. It does get very busy, so it would be great if the Post Office head office could plan better and provide more resources or support. The staff here deserve recognition for keeping things running with so many extra people to serve.

The final straw for me was today, when I wanted to post a letter to a friend in the USA. I did the usual had already put an Airmail sticker on, it was weighed and I was charged £1.40 to then have my letter passed back to me with the stamp laying on it. I said aren't you going to put that stamp on, for the unhelpful assistant to save "oh no"we can't do that as if the stamp came off we would be liable. I explained I have been writing to this friend for years who is now in her 80's and never have I been told too do this myself. I will never used this branch again and have already told friends and family about this awful service.
