Waste of time using this post office if you work 9-5. Never open until 6pm, regularly closed mid afternoon. Absolute joke, use Ham Green instead. Last 3 weeks hasn't opened beyond 5pm!

Considering how busy it is here, pretty much continuously, all of the ladies are wonderful. They know people by name and are incredibly friendly.

Went to collect a parcel and send one today. Got there at 14:50 and the lady decided she was going on her “break” 🙃 I’d already been standing in the queue for about 10 minutes while she took her sweet time chatting to the coop employee… and then suddenly, “I’m closing now, I’m going on my break. Come back at 15:15.” 😂 Like… okay then?! You could at least have given me the parcel I was there to collect so I could go somewhere else or tell me when I join the queue instead of wasting ages… and The attitude was honestly unreal… so rude and arrogant. She had short drak redish/brown hair… Every time I go there, it feels like they genuinely hate people. They should just wear a badge saying “DO NOT APPROACH — CUSTOMER SERVICE NOT AVAILABLE” 😂 No wonder people say robots are going to replace us when some people have absolutely zero people skills while working in customer service 🙈 I used to be an area manager for Tesco, so I know exactly what acceptable customer service looks like … and this definitely wasn’t it. I really hope someone gives them some proper customer service training because it’s needed. Ham Drive Post Office, on the other hand, is SO much nicer. I’d genuinely rather walk miles out of my way, get my parcel sorted with a smile and deal with lovely, friendly staff than go back to that place. 😂 And to the lady with the short brown hair — whatever mood you’re in or whatever kind of day you’re having, please don’t take it out on the people who come through the door. Have some decency and, at the very least, speak to people with basic manners and respect. Customer service really isn’t difficult .. a little empathy, politeness and a smile go a long way. Unfortunately, there seemed to be a serious lack of all three today. 🙈 or Honestly, please just close this post office down and turn it into a few more InPost lockers or something actually useful and reliable. At least then it might stop ruining people’s days. 😊😂

Last time I used this post office the staff member came out of the pod area to abuse me verbally and was told off by the security guard. All I did was to ask why the 5pm post had already gone when the sign outside said 5pm and it was only 4:50. She said it meant BY 5 pm and I pointed out that as customers we should have the expectation of being able to catch the 5pm post if we were at the front of the queue and had paid and handed over our parcel by 450. Also she had charged me for guaranteed next day delivery but said it would not get there until Tuesday and this was a Friday. (The following day, Saturday, I went to a different post office that confirmed if I had paid the same amount ( £19) that day there, it would be there in Monday, the deadline. And that they should have told me before I paid.) Anyway the security guard told the staff member I had been shopping there for 25 years and never caused any issues and she had to calm down. He seemed worried she was going to attack me, as I was too. She backed down and went in her pod thing again. I have never used that p.o. again. The other p.o helped me to complain but I never heard anything back or got my £19 back. Minus 5 stars; staff are threatening and abusive. The security guard has since retired. I still go in the shop part. One post office lady was nice but can't risk getting a vile one. Not a safe space and services misadvertised so I go further away when I need to post anything. Sad for people who have no choice.

Waiting in the queue to collect my parcel, only to be told they couldn’t do it and I had to come back in half an hour. Unfortunately, I had work, so I couldn’t wait around. My parcel ended up being sent back. 😡 Honestly, the worst Post Office experience ever. And to make it worse, the Co-op staff member was incredibly rude too. The place seems to be full of staff who have completely forgotten what customer service and basic empathy look like. I won’t be coming back here again. If you need to use a Post Office, do yourself a favour and go to Ham Drive instead the staff there are lovely, helpful and actually know how to treat customers. Avoid this one for your own peace of mind! 😤
