I regularly send rolled fabric sample parcels for my small business, rolled to avoid creasing and ensure they arrive in the best possible condition. I have sent them this way for years without any issues. However, yesterday a staff member refused to accept my parcel because she decided it was not a tube due to the shape of the ends, despite it being a cylindrical roll and within the size requirements for a tube. When I explained that shortening it was not an option as it would crease and damage the fabric, I was met with a very blunt and dismissive attitude rather than helpful guidance or a willingness to find a solution. The issue itself was frustrating, but the poor customer service and lack of professionalism were what made this experience so disappointing. Customers, especially small businesses relying on these services deserve to be treated with respect and given clear, consistent advice.
