I went to the post office today to return some parcels. The woman behind the cointer was one of the rudest people ive encountered. There is an old chinese proverb which says..man without smiling face shouldnt ooen shop. Next time i will go to someone tgat actually appreciates the custom

Updating to add: My review is not fake as you can see from the screenshot of the transaction from my bank! I have also reported this to trading standards and The Post Office.
Avoid this branch! Staff are rude and dishonest & mail is handled with zero security.
I came in to return a passport and asked for the cheapest Signed For service. After initially trying to charge me £15, they eventually charged me £5, only for me to later realise they didn’t send it Signed For at all. My passport is now lost. I am now out of pocket for an emergency replacement because the staff couldn’t be bothered to provide the service I paid for.
Beyond the "scam" pricing, the branch is a mess:
Post and returns are left in open boxes on the shop floor where anyone can grab them.
They open whenever they feel like it, often an hour past their posted opening times.
Speaking to neighbours, "lost" mail that isn’t sent tracked is a common theme here. It seems half the post they charge for never even leaves the building.
Save yourself the stress, the money, and your identity; go to a different Post Office.

Why did my Post Office refuse to issue change?
If you’ve registered for the Change Giving service, you shouldn’t be refused change at your nominated Post Office branch.
You may have been refused if you’re not signed up to this service. If you’d like to do so, contact your bank directly to find out whether they offer the service and how to sign up.
If you’ve signed up but aren’t using your nominated branch, it’s at that branch’s discretion whether they have enough change available to fulfil your request.
