  I try to use this post office when I am in the town but everytime and this is not an exaggeration, there is a queue moretimes than most going out into the doorway close to the photo both. There are usually only two staff members on the counter and even then one could disappear into the back to do something which I am sure must be a necessary job, however, that then leaves one counter open and thereby frustrating the customers. I absolutely agree that the workers should be treated with politeness and not be shouted at, but it is a very hard thing I can see from when I have been there as customers are frustrated about the wait with only a few counters open. It is common sense surely that in a town with plenty of customers, more counters should be open and obviously IF they are not required at a point in time, they can go into the back and do something else. It is not rocket science. I would like to point out that all the staff are very friendly and polite and I would like to bet that they too wish they had extra staff as I feel sure it must frustrate them too so please, whoever you are who owns this branch, PLEASE can you deal with the staffing issue and I hope things improve soon. I certainly don't like experiencing seeing customers getting frustrated and angry such as a couple of weeks ago when they received a message saying their parcel was ready for collection and then told they had to come back again at a later date... The person behind the counter said "you might have been told it's ready for collection but it only means it's in the back but not yet sorted" that in my opinion is not what the message said to the customer. Maybe it is worth rewording the message, or not sending the message until the item has been sorted. I really hope you take notice of this review and I hope to have much better service going forward.

  I cannot express enough how lovely the people in this post office truly are! My mum who lives miles away ordered me a Christmas present from america which unfortunately kept failing for delivery and I had no idea where it had gone other than it said ‘pick up point’ so I tried the post office and Claire and Wendy did not stop until they found it!! We got chatting and I told them I think it might be a Shania Twain themed gift 😂 and Claire, Wendy, and Vinny, were just as excited as me to find out what was inside. These people went above and beyond, funnily enough just before I got to the post office I was on the phone with my mum telling her how lovely the staff are in there every time we’ve been in. Thank you Clair, Wendy, and Vinny!

  Usually a good post office but unless the times on Google are wrong, they close earlier than stated. Really inconvenient and unreliable service.
