Utterly shocked by the total lack of humanity of the staff today.
Didn't want to give even 1 star.
I can understand rules are rules, but to lack basic manners & compassion in a customer service setting is appalling and I'll be making a formal complaint first thing tomorrow.

Absolutely awful service, I never use this post office due to previous issues but as they state they open at 8.30am and I had a parcel to send I stupidly decided to go, the lad behind the counter didn't know the password to the computer, I was told he didn’t want to lock himself out, I asked if anyone else had access to the password and if he could ask someone, he said not until 9am. So although they claim to open at 8.30am, it would be helpful if the staff are able to use the system at that time. There was no apology or want to help. I was just ignored as he carried on to serve someone else. Just use the post office on the market as they are 10000 times more helpful and friendlier.

I imagine that this is what a post office in hell looks like. Staff are rude and condescending and think it beneath them to even speak or do their job. Basic manners, let alone customer service, are severely lacking in this place. The post office in Upper Buxton is infinitely much better.
