The woman at Brampton Post Office didn't want to take the parcels, as she said they were too tall. I was advised 150cm max for inland posting, but they do allow a small amount over. My tubes were 150cm exact but the tape went over by around 0.5cm. The woman at Brampton Post Office refused to take them as she said they would not fit in the Parcelforce Van (although they fitted in the back of a small car and had already been agreed with Parcelforce who then telephoned Brampton Post Office to confirm). I then had to drive to Parcelforce Depot in Carlisle, an extra 20 miles (+ 20 miles return). Parcelforce were brilliant and said there would have been no problem at all. The woman in Brampton Post Office who couldn't be bothered to take the parcels in has therefore cost me two hours in time and 40 miles of petrol. Thanks Jobsworth!!!
