It amazes me how they get such a wide range into such a small space. Always friendly helpful staff, excellent fruit and vegetables plus a wide range plants for the garden in the spring. On top of all this they support local charities, the local festival, drama group and more. I encourage all local residents to support them. Use it or lose it.

Oh Trish Trish how misguided you are. The fruit and veg you deem to be unnecessary is a much needed resource for the many pensioners in the area. If you knew anything about our village you would also know that his post office goes above and beyond to help our elderly and vunerable residents, often delivering essential items during bad weather or when people are homebound by illness. They don't have to do this but value our community and support it any way they can. Which leads to your most foolish statement trying to make a political argument about a Coventry City Football Club flag-flying high celebrating our championship win and return to top flight football.
If you really thought this was the flag of the political party you refer to, you might want to go to specsavers. Being the helpful, friendly post office that they are, they would probably help you find the nearest branch if you need help with your vision.
From my personal experience this post office is outstanding in every way. They always happily take my many home delivery returns (which other places sometimes refuse due to 'space'), they have assisted me with passport application return envelopes, overseas mail, and helped me out in a pinch when I've ran out of something, or I'm short an item for a recipe. They are a valuable part of our village and are doing a fantastic job bringing back that community feel.

We use the post office regularly, always great service with a smile! The shop is very well stocked with essentials and more, great fresh produce and plants plus a good choice of drinks too. This isn’t an ordinary post office and convenience store, the staff go above and beyond to provide great service and a community feel. I love seeing the decorations outside for different occasions, the Easter theme really made me smile and it’s great to see the bunting up for our football team. Well done to everyone at Allesley Post Office!

Allesley Village Post Office is a true asset to the village. We are so lucky to have such a friendly, helpful and community-minded local shop and post office.
They offer a fantastic range of fresh fruit and veg, as well as so many useful services, and they always go above and beyond for local people. What really makes them special is how much they support village life — from helping with local events like Scouts and Allesley Festival, to always getting involved with community celebrations.
Their seasonal displays for Halloween, Easter and Christmas are always lovely, and most recently they decorated with sky blue bunting to celebrate Coventry City FC’s promotion to the Premier League, which brought such a brilliant community feel to the village.
They clearly care about Allesley and the people who live here. A wonderful local business run by wonderful people — highly recommended.
