- AA J !Aug 3, 20263.0Really handy to still have this facility after the stand alone PO closed and the staff are really helpful although they're clearly overstretched. Having a small village car park just over the road is also really useful. Main issue is the opening times. They change fairly regularly and it's always for the worse! Even when the opening times sign in the shop says they should be open, they often aren't due to staffing issues.

Large woman sat behind the counter refused to accept my simple letter that needed to be registered. Male colleague then chimed in with sarcastic comments when I explained I had cycled 2 miles to get there and couldn’t wait for an hour.

Simply hand over your sealed cheque deposit envelope to the Post Office who will provide you with a receipt for your cheque deposit envelope.
Why did my Post Office refuse to issue change?
If you’ve registered for the Change Giving service, you shouldn’t be refused change at your nominated Post Office branch.
You may have been refused if you’re not signed up to this service. If you’d like to do so, contact your bank directly to find out whether they offer the service and how to sign up.
If you’ve signed up but aren’t using your nominated branch, it’s at that branch’s discretion whether they have enough change available to fulfil your request.
