I attended the bar road post office. The shop was empty! I was told i cannot use the post office, because he might get a million customers, to be precise!! I said i would go if a million customers came in. All i wanted was a sticky label with a code off my phone. It resulted in me, having to go to another spar post office, where they were kind and helpful. In my opinion this man cant cope! And was just standing there. Very disappointed, as it is my local post office and shop. This needs addressing! Thank you.

This shop used to be really quite good before Spar took it over and unfortunately means a lot of people now don’t bother with it and either use Tesco towards town or the co-op under the Atlantic.
The staff seem nice enough, although when it comes to offering any Post Office services, they obviously detest doing it which is unfortunate when you’re supposed to be operating a Post Office.
Like so many others not just on here but other sites our experience with trying to second-guess when the post office is open is almost impossible.
Today my wife joined the queue (as word had got out the post office was actually open) and was told that the post office would close this afternoon at 3:30 ( as did the Post Office website) so I went at 3:15 and the CLOSED sign was up and I was brusquely informed the post office had shut at 2 o’clock. End of conversation.
If it’s too much trouble, they should just remove this function as it really doesn’t work, the staff don’t want do it and the general public have absolutely no idea whether it’s going be open or not

Absolute beaches.wish I could give 0, served someone Infront of me then had the cheek to tell me they're closed and as they're "cashing out" and I can't be given my Amazon order. I've picked up items from many post offices and never have to deal cash to get my items its done through the amazon app on phone so why cashing out means I can't have my Amazon items is beyond me! Will never use again. Rude arrogant staff closing at 2 and not the 3.30 as stated online or 4pm I was told to go there by. Avoid at all costs!!!
