- CKchristine kershawJul 14, 20261.0Have used this post office on only 2 occasions to pick up parcels. The man in the shop is such a miserable, unhelpful person. He had a right moan saying my parcel should not have been delivered there as it was too big.....if that is the case then he should have told the delivery man that and had it returned. Think he forgets that they are there to provide a service for the community. I didn't just think that I would send my parcel there on a whim. It came up as a delivery address where my parcel could go to. I believe he's retiring anyway which is probably a blessing to the community. I have never had any issues at Kirkby Stephen post office. The lady is lovely there...maybe he should take some tips from her. My husbands firm in Appleby have also used this post office on a few occasions and have said the same thing. Unhelpful and miserable.....
