Unlike most post offices, they do not provide basic items such as tape or pens for customer use unless you purchase them. They also frequently refuse parcel drop-offs up to an hour before lunch, stating they are “about to close.” The overall attitude comes across as rude and unprofessional, leaving customers feeling as though they must meet unnecessary conditions just to access standard services. This should be a charming neighbourhood post office, yet the experience falls far short of that. Despite being only a three-minute walk from my home, I now choose to go to the city centre instead, where the service is consistently more reliable and the staff far more courteous. It feels as though this branch survives more on the footfall from the nearby college than on genuine customer satisfaction.
