I went there to deposit some cash into my bank account. I’ve been there multiple times with no issues and deposited as much money as I have wanted. The young lady on the counter was rude straight away. Told me she couldn’t deposit the money because it was over the limit. The limit was £500, I was confused because I’ve deposited more before but I said okay no worries please may I deposit just £500. The lady then refused to serve me because I had already told her the amount I need to deposit. I told her (as I was clearly very visibly ill) that my car is broken and I can’t walk all the way up to another post office. She told me to leave and go to staple hill. I asked her why she couldn’t serve me and she decided to say because of the way you’re talking to me. At this point I was speaking politely. I asked to see her manager and she refused, told me to leave the shop and told me she wasn’t willing to serve me. I asked her if it was because of my skin tone and she got very defensive, continuing to be rude. At the end of the day I couldn’t pay rent because I couldn’t deposit the money and it caused me a lot of strain because I was so ill. Such a bad experience. If you don’t know how to do your job don’t come to work

Dreadful service. Would rate it below zero. And not just once - it's the same awful service every time...

The PO seems to randomly close to do the banking and the remaining member of staff is apparently unable to process post in that time? Very frustrating!
