- CGCin GagSep 2, 20261.0I am reading that I am not the only one to think that in this office they are either incompetent or deliberately trying to rip you off; many people think so. I wanted to send 2 envelopes. I asked for two tracked deliveries, specifying that I did not want any additional services other than tracking, and I wasn't even bothered about fast delivery. The only option I was given was to spend nearly £10 per envelope. The only alternative I was offered to this was untracked at £1.80, 'with the risk of losing the envelope', they said. Since I was certain that there were cheaper alternatives given that until a few months ago I regularly sent tracked parcels at lower prices, I refused to pay and went back home. I’ve just bought 2 tracked deliveries for £3.80 each. As long as they do it to me, I can even put up with it although it’s very unpleasant and time consuming, but when I think of all those elderly people who walk into a post office... well, I really cannot tolerate it. Please do not reply to me as you did to all the others, making things up and claiming that you explained all the options to me, because you didn't, and I am pretty sure you didn't do so with the others either.

Was then offered a cheaper alternative without delivery signature for £3.80 when i got home i realised they had sold me a 'certificate of posting' which offers no tracking or proof of delivery. Went back to challenge them and was told a pack of lies. Will go online next time. Avoid this post office staff are devious and deceitful.
