- LEL ESep 4, 20261.0Had a notification that my package failed to be delivered - I thought it would be fine and that I could pick it up tomorrow or on Monday morning if they try to deliver again as I need the package for Monday afternoon. Went to check the local Facebook group to see if they had any info and saw that due to staff shortage the Post Office is closed right through including the entirety of Monday. Chances are my package will be sent back to the seller now. Really annoyed. This Post Office has been massively short staffed for years now. We even adapted to them closing every lunchtime to accommodate the one staff member left.
- AMAyaz MSep 4, 20261.0Had a package supposed to be delivered here during their open hours (3:10PM) and courier had "run into a problem" which i can only assume is that there was no one on shift, i know lunch can run over but for a post office there should be someone on site at all times during the open hours to receive parcel delivery, otherwise you shouldn't be a post office and instead become a regular corner shop.
