Terrible experience at Halton view post office today. Post office worker Janet was very rude impolite unhelpful and difficult. She did not appear to be able to follow simple instructions that I would like to send a parcel with Royal Mail tracked. Despite this She repeatedly asked if I would like a second class stamp and if I would like to send my parcel with Evri. At times I felt she was trying to have an argument. When Janet finally grasped that I would like to send my parcel with Royal Mail tracked she explained she no longer wanted to serve me and told me to speak with her Manager.
I asked to speak with her manager, she pointed at the other Lady in the shop, informing me; this was her manager. Janet also informed me; she didn’t work for Royal Mail she worked for the crown.
On my way out of the shop I approached the Lady at the front of the shop to discuss my experience in store today and the need to complain. I was instructed in a
condescending manner that I should call the post office immediately and report Janet. It was fairly clear this Lady was not a manager. As I exited the shop the Lady shouted; I’m trying to help you.
I drove to another post office and was served without any problems.

Tuesday morning and closed. Happens all too often that the stated opening times in store and online are completely inaccurate causing wasted journeys and annoyed people who have ordered something that I've been unable to post.
