If I had to choose between death and visiting this post office again for DVLA work, I'd honestly rather choose death. The staff were completely unprofessional and clearly didn't know what they were doing. Because of their mistakes and lack of guidance, I ended up wasting more than £100 on my DVLA application. Absolutely unacceptable service

Terrible customer service at this branch.
You’re encouraged to use the self serve stations, but when you’re sending something guaranteed you need someone to come over and accept it.
I stood for over 10 minutes waiting for someone; constantly ignored because they were seeing the people in the queue who arrived after me.
Someone eventually came over, didn’t say anything and walked off after accepting it on the screen. I had to chase after them because they needed the package. They didn’t say anything to me again.

Awful customer service when asking for advice about postage. Came in twice and got the same rude response from a member of staff, ended up leaving and unable to post my item.

Horrendous customer service from the post office staff here. Never in my life have I been so disgusted with the way staff members spoke to me when asking for simple help and advice. Should be ashamed of yourselves.

Warrington Post Office is located at the back of TG Jones at the Golden Square Mall.
The Post Office area is clean and presentable and they also have self-service postage machines which are handy. The staff seemed friendly and happy to help and were apologetic on my most recent trip when I was turned away.
I feel the services offered by this Post Office compared to others, are disappointing, especially as the main Post Office serving a large town with certain government applications (passports, driving licenses) is not possible here, as well as Amazon services. On my most recent visit, I was unable to send my Amazon return due to it being a boxless return - even though they claim to offer this service online, causing a wasted journey.
For basic services, this location is good with helpful staff and a presentable environment but for anything a little more complex, I wouldn’t rely on this particular Post Office going forward.
