Terrible service. If the post office wants to stop taking cash deposits at 5:40 PM, then they should just close the till in the afternoon itself instead of calling evening “night.” It’s a weekday, the branch is open, and still they refuse basic service. This shows pure negligence and zero responsibility from the staff. Totally unacceptable and unprofessional behaviour.

Allowing this place to run as a post office is a stretch. It is just a post office looking counter. Had to wait for a Morrisons employee to finish topping up wine bottles for the fridges before she served me, she had seen me waiting but ignored me for a good 5 minutes. Now to the actual service. I had two parcels to return to Amazon with pre-printed royal mail QR codes that she just had to scan through to print the labels and generate my proof of postage. This did not happen. She used a mobile device, scanned the royal mail QR code then put my parcel inside another brown envelope, sealed it up and scanned the prelabelled barcode on the envelope followed by scanning a parcelforce label that was stuck on the wall. She did this for both packages. I looked on in confusion and thought it was new procedure, asked for proof of postage when it was done and she said I would get a message. No message came, parcels gone. No idea where to. My amazon parcels have not been received by amazon and I have no refund. These morrisons staff do not know what they are doing and frankly don't care. This is not a post office.

I had a great experience here, I used the post office counter at 07:30 to do a parcel return, friendly and helpful staff and no waiting either that doesn't happen at my local post office that doesn't open until 9am

Went here about a year ago to pick up some money I had ordered. The woman who dishes it out had gone home early so they couldn’t give it out. I was left with no travel money. Went there today and the post office counter was closed, no reason given.
This is a place to buy junk food at high prices. Don’t plan to use the post office services. If you live nearby and can’t be bothered to walk to Birchwood, fine, but otherwise avoid.
