Queued for 25 minutes today just to collect a D1 form, during peak time (lunchtime/late afternoon), and there was only one member of staff serving. With four people still ahead of me and no sign of additional support, I had to leave without being served.
For a branch of this size, operating with a single staff member at busy times is simply not adequate. It results in unnecessary delays and wasted time for customers. Very disappointing experience.

I went in to exchange Pounds for Euros. I was offered an exchange rate at 1.01 Euros per Pound. I asked the guy serving to tell me that again because I couldn't believe what I was hearing. He repeated his offer of 1.01 Euros to the pound, so for all intents and purposes that's parity. I went to Sainsbury's and was 1.07 Euros to the Pound. So I went to Tesco and that was 1.08 Euros to the Pound...
And here's the kicker - I finally went to Bramhall Post Office and they gave me 1.09 Euros to the Pound. So either he's bad at maths in the Cheadle Hulme Post Office or he was trying to rip me off... Either way, that's not great is it?

Terrible service. I deposited a Cheque Deposit Envelope with them, with an important cheque to go to my bank. It should have been dispatched that day, but they sat on it for 11 days before dispatching it, causing me significant inconvenience. I did not get any apology when I confronted them about it. I will not use this post office again.
