How do I deposit a cheque at Post Office?

To deposit a cheque, you’ll need to bring the following to your nearest branch: *The cheque *A completed deposit slip from your bank, if applicable. Please contact your bank to request paying-in slips as these are not held in Post Office branches *A cheque deposit envelope for your bank (these are available from your own bank or the majority are stocked in Post Office branches) Please do not enclose cash. Full instructions can be found on the cheque deposit envelope. Simply hand over your sealed cheque deposit envelope to the Post Office who will provide you with a receipt for your cheque deposit envelope.

Why did my Post Office refuse to issue change?

Absolutely rubbish Post Office and DPD collection point. DPD’s own website clearly states that this location is open until 9 PM, yet apparently that comes with a ridiculous hidden condition: if an untrained or incompetent member of staff is on the shift, the collection point is simply closed. What is the point of advertising opening hours until 9 PM if customers cannot actually collect their parcels during those hours? This is completely misleading and a massive waste of customers’ time. DPD seriously needs to review this collection point and consider removing it from their collection network if the location cannot reliably provide the service advertised on their website. Customers should not have to turn up based on DPD’s stated opening hours only to be told that the collection point is closed because of staffing issues. Extremely poor service, completely unreliable, and frankly unacceptable.

Now been waiting for a parcel since Tuesday now Friday . More due since . Needed the weekend and now ruined . Not happy at all as deliver request was over back gate but because was raining didn’t do it . My decision not his to make and now missed the timescale .

Missed out on a very important package. Was told by staff they’re not trained to hand over packages in a post office. Avoid using this post office if you actually want to use a post office

This is such an awful post office. They close whenever they feel like it; yesterday. Monday, they closed randomly at 1.30. Today I'm in a queue of 10 people, 3 people have abandoned after 15 minutes. Recommend the post office on Longsands Road if you're mobile. Much better service

Very sorry, but they might as well close this one. I've been here quite a few times over the past year or so and the amount of times they were randomly closed or couldn't do certain things is not acceptable. I am not one to leave bad reviews but I think I've given it enough time now and it's not just a bad couple of weeks they had. There's constantly something, which is a shame as the people seem alright when they're actually serving you.
