This post office just closes whenever the person working there sees fit. I’m stood outside at 16:30 having walked here with my parcels as I don’t drive and it’s shut. It’s meant to be open until 5:30. One off fine, but it’s never a one off. This has happened so many times and it’s unbearably irritating. I now I have to walk all the way back home with these parcels now and hope that the next time I come, the man who works there fancies running it. Don’t say you’re open until 5:30 when you’re so blatantly not!

Ok so ive read a lot of these posts on here, the guy behind the counter (his name is Kam) he is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet, be polite to him, he will do the same to you.. its common practice for all post office's to shut between 1pm and 2pm. (They all do !). Why shouldn't they have a lunch break ?
I have never in the last 2 years (since Sue left) had a problem here, I find Kam very helpful, he isn't rude at all, in fact if ive written something down wrong he will tell me and correct for me.. so stop the hate and get to know him.. you will then realize what a nice guy he is..

I have no complaints or whatever. I use this Post Office monthly for collecting parcels. The only one reason I don’t give 5 stars is the opening times as it closes too early for many working people - 5pm.

This post office is the best in the area, which is local to me. The gentleman who runs it is always so helpful, friendly and polite. He is always willing to help and offer advice when needed.
Frequently Asked Questions About Paston Post Office
How much cash can I withdraw at a Post Office counter?
The amount you can withdraw in a Post Office branch will depend on any withdrawal limits in place on the specific account you hold with your bank. If you’re unsure, please contact your bank directly to check.
Do I get charged for making cash withdrawals at Post Office?
No charges are taken at the counter however some banks may charge.
For details, please check directly with your own bank.
How do I deposit a cheque at Post Office?
To deposit a cheque, you’ll need to bring the following to your nearest branch:
*The cheque
*A completed deposit slip from your bank, if applicable. Please contact your bank to request paying-in slips as these are not held in Post Office branches
*A cheque deposit envelope for your bank (these are available from your own bank or the majority are stocked in Post Office branches)
Please do not enclose cash. Full instructions can be found on the cheque deposit envelope.
Simply hand over your sealed cheque deposit envelope to the Post Office who will provide you with a receipt for your cheque deposit envelope.
Why did my Post Office refuse to issue change?
If you’ve registered for the Change Giving service, you shouldn’t be refused change at your nominated Post Office branch.
You may have been refused if you’re not signed up to this service. If you’d like to do so, contact your bank directly to find out whether they offer the service and how to sign up.
If you’ve signed up but aren’t using your nominated branch, it’s at that branch’s discretion whether they have enough change available to fulfil your request.
To get more information about your bank’s services and Change Giving, contact them directly.
What is the Post Office Change Giving service?
